honestly, i cannot even begin to tell you what’s gonna happen… since im not a cheater like krissy and didnt ready ahead, i am completely unaware of the ending. at first i said that the monster would end up dead, but then i realized that so far nothing has been able to kill him! so i think that maybe as the story goes on robert might help him find the monster since the whole crew saw him go by right before they found frankenstein. maybe everyone dies… maybe frankenstein realizes that he cant kill the monster and decides to let the monster live out the rest of his live in solitude, thinking that that would be the worst revenge of all since all the monster wants is a companion who accepts him… but then again, victor is not smart and is selfish so i guess im just gonna have to read to find out…

well i am not too sure what is going on exactly…but i predict that the entire story was a dream… lol that is such a suckey prediction.. oh well i still get 10 points.. HOORAY!!!! ELIZABETH IS DEEEEEAAAAAAD!!!!

    So like
    i think
    victor’s either skitzo
    or
victor doesn’t catch up to the monster, as is revealed in the beginning of the story. Robert and his crew decide to help him. they find the monster and the monster’s all like, i don’t wanna fight you guys, i’ve had my fill of killing ppl. but victor still convinces the guys to kill the monster which they do by burning him, yay fire!!!! and they live happily ever after, except for victor who kills himself/dies of natural causes for some reason… let’s say grief, yeah, that works

I won’t lie.. I read ahead. The book was getting boring so I skimmed!

Anyways.. since I can’t predict, I’ll say how I wish the book ended.

Throughout his journey looking for the monster, he had some detours. [coughcough] Joking.
But the monster continues to leave bread crumb trails for Frankenstein because in a chase, it’s no fun when the chaser loses to the chasee.
Shockingly, Frankenstein finally catches up and sees two of the monster. That is, one as equally hideous and grotesque as the one he created, however, not exactly the same. He is shocked. It’s like the daemon but yet, for some reason, it has a little feminism to it. OMG, it’s the wife!
How did this come to happen?
The monster has written a note to yet another dreamer not unlike Victor. The man finds it intriguing and embarks on the challenge the monster set: making him a woman.
Of course, he doesn’t follow Victor’s course of action and ultimately commits suicide soon after creating it.
The monster’s trail led to the wife.

But why, oh why, is he still trailing to the North Pole? Remember how the monster was hurt by the bullet? Don’t forget Victor is packing some heat in his bag. He learned his lesson and point blank shot the ‘wife’ in the heart.

    DEAD.

Haha, the monster’s mad and is sworn to attempt some way to flood the whole world. He’s learned the best way to do this is to melt the ice caps [OMG GLOBAL WARMING.. the monster is going to kill us soon].

So, since we obviously have global warming on our hands, it is safe to assume that the monster lives way too long, is melting the ice caps, and Victor… well, he found a new friend! Gay.

That’s how it should end.. some parts may happen, some parts not… made sure I missed it up a bit to not totally give it away. ;)

    Or did I?

Only Bush knows [and anyone else who reads ahead haha].

I agree with Morgan in that Krissy sucks, however as we already know what happens during Frankensteins chasing of the monster. Im willing to bet that in his convalescence with Walton Frankenstein loses the monster for good. Following with that thought it is also a possibility that Frankenstien dies of his illness. Then again this story does have a few twists and turns…

I think that Victor’s agony will get to him. He will feel so mad at himself for creating the monster that went round killing everyone he loved. I believe that he will commit suicide because he is so depressed with the life he is living.

I predict that the moster is going to survive and end up killing Victor or Victor is going to die from lonliness and depression…….. either way it goes he’s going to die.:)♥

i think that victor will case the monster all the way to the artic and then the story will turn back to robert’s narration after that i believe victor will get robert to help him case after the monster. The monster will be trapped, probably by some elabrote sceme thought up by victor, and victor will finally kill the monster. But the monster somehow fatally wounds victor before he is brought down so victor and his monster die.

I dont blame Krissy for reading ahead the book is boring. If I really wanted to know how it ended and had some free time on my hand to actually read ahead(yet alone read ahat iM supposed to ) then I would have skimmed ahead too. But since i dont really care i didn’t. Now for my predications….. Ending A: Frankenstein doesn’t find the monster and wastes his whole life trying to find him. He dies a cold lonley and unhappy death which no one cares about because his loved ones are all dead. Ending B: Maybe this is all a horrible dream and we as a class wasted valuable time reading someone else’s crazy nightmare. Ending C: The monster got someone to make him a wife, they move to the polar ice caps to be in solitude, Victor hunts them down, he brutally kills the wife in front of the monster, and finally kills the monster. While rejoicing in his accomplishment he is mauled down by a polar bear(?) and dies after all of that. THE END!!!!!

I have been trying to make predictions through out the novel, but I haven’t been correct yet. I thought that everyone would die at the end of the book, but Im not sure anymore. What I would like to happen is Frankenstein to meet robert. We’ll see though if it happens.

I think that the monster will eventually end up killing Victor because of all that has happened. Or he will wake up and it will all be a dream just like in the movies.

P.S. Please give me credit I just got off of work.!!

Thank you all! We’ll find out what happens tomorrow in class. I’ll let you slide D.D. :-)

Aww, I didn’t know we had to do this by 10…did u say that n class??? Well I think you forgot, so u should make an exception just this once :) lol…but anyways I predict that the monster is on the ship with Victor as he is telling his story. At the end of the book, Victor will stop his narration and commit suicide, because he really no longer has anything to live for; and also because he is still being threatened by the monster.

yah…i rly couldnt use the computer until just now >_>

i predict that the monster is real, not a figment of his imagination…and that the monster will find him, and revive the forgotten mrs. frankenstein and both of them will take the ship captive, and electricity will zap n kill the woman and the monster and victor will fight to the death, and in the end victor will shoot him with a crossbow, (ancient mariner reference lol) ….and the book will end and ill be depressed….but of course, she will write it better….

  15.   Kevan Williams on Wednesday,December 5, 2007 3:15 am

Yeah, I was asleep way before ten so, yeah, i’m just going to give my prediction now. Considering that at the beginning of the story, Robert saw the monster sledging across the ice one night and then finds Victor stranded and asking if the boat is going north, I predict that Robert will take Victor to confront the monster. Victor will die, though. The monster will then realize that with his revenge finally complete, he has nothing. This will drive him to drown himself in the sea. The End.
