I have a feeling everyone (or almost everyone) is gonna end up dead. It never fails lol. Also, the flying theme keeps popping up, so maybe someone is gonna end up flying (figuratively that is).
At the end of the book, i believe that Milkman will be far away from his family because all he wants is to be free and on his own. While he is away, the rest of the characters will go insane and start treating each other horrible. Some characters will end up dead because of their insanity but others will just continue to do crazy things.
I think milkman, pilate and john are going to die but who knows maybe something unpredictable will happen, even though it seems unlikely.
I think Pilate and her brother will pass away. Milkman will learn the truth and all the secrets that are still hidden. Pilate will jump off something and her brother will follow knowing that he didn’t repatch things with her quick enough.
I think that because Milkman is so drunk and he leaves the house that he will make a bad decision that affects many lives, including his own. I think that Corinthians will take her anger out on the family and somehow become successful and cut her father off. I also think that somehow Guitar and Milkman will get into a fight that kills one of them for the gold because Milkman wants so desperately to be on his own that he will do anything to achieve it.
I believe that the whole family that is left will begin to fall apart and they they will all leave each other. I think Milkman will finally start his own life doing something he likes and that Macon and Pilate will probably kill each other over the “sack of money” that really wasn’t money. Finally, I believe Milkman and Guitar will live the rest of their lives in shame and that them being arrested will be the breaking point in their already shaky friendship.
I think that before the end of the story, the “flying” theme will come full circle. Flying as a means of escape, and in this case there are two ways. Escaping your life, or escaping life altogether. I think that milkman will either make it out of his horrible life and onto better things, or he will end up dead.
I think all of the secrets will be unveiled and Milkman will figure out what really happened in the past, and I think that most if not all of the family will die, it’s inevitable.
I think that something will trigger a chain reaction of revelation where everybody finds out the truth about everything. Some people will be able to handle it and others are going to die because of it.
Of course as several others predicted I do believe that death is going to be a significant topic of the conclusion, but I believe that more specifically there could possible be some suicidal actions. Milkman seems very unstable and would be so appalled about the truths of his path that he’ll decided to end to it all.
I feel that in the end Milkman will end up really far from his whole family. !ut then again I think everybodys gonna die. In every book I have ever read in english class everyone usually ends up dead. I think the novels are meant to make us teemages depressed about life so we will strive 2 do good things in life. Alkso now that I think about it Milkman will probably kill himself. Haha LOL! I wouldn’t surprise me because that stuff usually happens in the stories we read in english class!
I believe that the conclusion will be pretty predictable. I believe that basicaly, all of these secrets will become commonly known. For example, milk man will probaby find out his true past. But, I also believe that people are going to start dying. Not based on anything in the story but simply because in every book we’ve read this year, someone dies, and I would be shocked if this were any different.
I think by the end of this book everyone is going to have to face each other. I feel like it will be a like a Jerry Springer episode. “Dysfunctional Families Discuss.” I feel like all the secrets and truths are going to come out and the family will be forced to face it and to tell the truth. I feel like someone, a majority, of the people in the book will be dead.
I cant answer this question fairly because I already finished the book. But if I hadn’t i would predict that milkman is going to find out abou all the secrets his family has. His family is oging to become even more disfunctional after milkman’s family history is revealed.
I agree with Ugo. I think that Milkman will come to the conclusion that the only way to truly be “free” is to kill himself. After learning all the secrets that were held back from him, he will commit suicide because he would think that is the only way to solve his problems. I also believe that Macon will end up dead as well, Pilate probably killing him over the problems they had with each other.
