    - I think MacBeth will use a direct approach to kill the king. He will probably get a knife, explain his purpose, then kill him. Moreover, I think his wife won’t be apart of it, her tone in the play seems to lean more to the speaker, or prompter. While, Macbeth plays the excutioner, or one to carry out a deed. After the deed is done, I think Macbeth will ponder and exclaim that this was his wife’s ultimate plan and that she should carried it out.

I believe the Macbeth is going to carry out the murder and I think because of lady Macbeth will assist him, beaing that she has a ruthless personality. Macbeth will carry it out and not leave it to his wife.

I believe that Lady Macbeth will take over the murder, but Macbeth is still going to have take part. I think he doesnt want to do the murder, but he will because his wife will persuay, him to do so. Lady Macbeth is very mean, and ruthless and she will do what ever she can to have what she wants. So if he doesnt she will most definitly take on all of the dirty work

I believe Macbeth and and his wife will both work together to kill the king. I believe Macbeth will actually do the deed himself. I feel that once pressured enough, Macbeth will rise up to the challenge and kill the king.

Macbeth will more than likely try to kill King Duncan himself. However, it is absolutely probable that Lady Macbeth will be the one to help plan the entire rebellion. I feel as though Macbeth will only be the puppet in the rebellion. Lady Macbeth is going to continue to poison Macbeth’s mind with words and phrases such as “Look, if YOU were king than all the people would give taxes to you”. Macbeth, sooner or later would end up falling for this and going to commit the dastardly deed.

Conversely, if Lady Macbeth were to kill King Duncan herself her method would be different. More than likely she would use poison. She could enter his room acting as though she was going to have sex with him (like a Trojan horse), and then give him poisoned wine. Then she could stab him in the chest, and give all the credit to Macbeth. If she were to do that, then i think that is the way she would do it.

I think Macbeth will be manipulated by Lady Macbeths overly ambitious tactics to murder the king. She feels that Macbeth really wants to be king and that it is best for the both of them

  7.   Michelle Rosen on Friday,October 28, 2011 12:54 pm

I think Macbeth will kill King Duncan, but Lady Macbeth will probably be involved in some way -ie., persuading him, going with him, or providing whatever materials he needs to kill the king. Shakespeare never got too creative with his murders, so it’s predictable that Macbeth will either poison him, stab him, or both (not necessarily in that order). He seems a bit hesitant about committing murder and he might back out at the last minute, but he also seems rather submissive to his overly-ambitious wife, so she will probably convince/force him to carry it out.

  8.   Betina on Friday,October 28, 2011 2:06 pm

I believe that Lady Macbeth will take a leadership role and manipulate her husband into killing the king and becoming the next ruler

  9.   Jess Levine on Friday,October 28, 2011 2:07 pm

I think the Macbeth’s will carry the murder out in a very obvious way and will have to explain more deaths than they originally planed for. I think that Lady Macbeth will do all of the killing and Macbeth will not argue with her and let her do whatever she sees fit.

  10.   Taylor Bell on Friday,October 28, 2011 3:44 pm

I think Macbeth will carry out the murder and Lady Macbeth will just watch and take the credit as the new ruler

  11.   Brianna Stelly on Friday,October 28, 2011 4:24 pm

I think that Macbeth will go through with the murder and Lady Macbeth will help him. Lady Macbeth has a ruthless personality so maybe she will even help Macbeth and then turn on him. I think she will manipulate him into doing it and then rat him out. I’m really excited to see how everything will play out.

  12.   LeTorrian Jackson on Friday,October 28, 2011 8:45 pm

I think the MacBeths will try to poison King Duncan at dinner. I believe Lady Macbeth will assist her husband with the plan. I think Macbeth will back out due to some guilt.

  13.   Ayanna Coleman on Friday,October 28, 2011 8:48 pm

I agree with LeTorrian. I think they will attempt to poison him, however, I also think that Macbeth will back out and Lady Macbeth with attempt to carry it out on her own.

  14.   Ogo Nwabuokei on Saturday,October 29, 2011 9:13 am

Given their close relationship I believe that Lady Macbeth with assist her husband in concocting a plan to kill king duncan. Being the sadistic person that she is, Lady Macbeth will put forth many ideas that or gruesome in order to watch the king suffer a slow and painful death. I beleive that due to some form of guilt Macbeth will try and opt out from the plan but her wife will push him and persuade him telling him it’s his destiny to be king and this is what he has been waiting for. Also, although Macbeth might get cold feet I beleive that his wife will pull the trigger when it comes time to.

In my opinion, I believe that McBeth will be the one to take King Duncan’s life. By judging his reaction once he discovered that he was not going to be entitled to the throne, I predict that his anger will probably cause him to asassinate Duncan but later regret it as his concious takes a hold of him.
As Lady McBeth’s character seems like the malevolent type, I believe that she’s only a foil to McBeth in that she talks about how fearless she is but she won’t actually take action while on the other hand, McBeth is a man of few words but will actually go through on his plans.

  16.   Millicent Gyamfuah on Saturday,October 29, 2011 3:48 pm

The Macbeths will carry out the plan to kill King Duncan. I personally feel that Macbeth will only go through with the plan because of the fear of what Lady Macbeth will do if he doesnt. She is ruthless and is willing to do whatever she has to do inorder for her family to get to the next level. I also believe she will leave all the dirty work up to her husband.

  17.   Tinesha Allen on Saturday,October 29, 2011 4:13 pm

I believe MacBeth will carry out the murder with the help of Lady MacBeth but knowing Shakespeare something will go horribly wrong and I think Lady MacBeth will kill her husband.

  18.   Erica swann on Saturday,October 29, 2011 9:28 pm

I believe that Macbeth will probably stab the king with a knife and the Lady Macbeth with stay over in the sidelines so that if anything goes wrong the blame will be on Macbeth. Macbeth will not shrink and make Lady Macbeth Carey out the plan because she has too much influence over him.

  19.   Chris Davis on Saturday,October 29, 2011 11:49 pm

In my opinion, I believe Macbeth will go through with the murder of King Duncan. Although he’ll probably struggle with his conscience, his ambition, along with Lady Macbeth’s constant pressure, will eventually lead to him killing the king. While Lady Macbeth talks a good talk, I don’t think she’ll assist Macbeth in killing Duncan.

  20.   Jasmine Smith on Sunday,October 30, 2011 1:23 pm

I feel that Lady Macbeth will manipulate Macbeth into killing King Duncan. However, i feel she is all talk and will have nothing to do with his murder. All of the dirty work will be left to him. He will probably sneak into the palace and kill King Duncan with a dagger to the chest. Everyone will be asleep and awake to the horrific news that their king has been murdered.

  21.   Kai Wilson on Sunday,October 30, 2011 1:26 pm

I think Macbeth is going to poison King Duncan. Shakespeare uses poison a lot in his stories. I think because of Macbeth’s personality, he’ll drop undecodable hints to Duncan, to help him justify what he’s about to do. I think Lady Macbeth will leave all of the dirty work up to him, not because she doesn’t want any part of it, but because it’s Macbeth’s deed. I think Macbeth will carry it out all by himself.

  22.   Saul Makanga on Sunday,October 30, 2011 1:38 pm

I believe that Macbeth and Lady Macbeth will surely go through with the murder of the king. However, Macbeth is somewhat skeptical of actually going through with the entire plan; his uncertain whether or not to murder King Duncan. On the other, Lady Macbeth’s ruthless personality will go a long way to pursue her husband and assist him with ideas of how to kill the king. In any case, the murder of King Duncan is inevitable.

  23.   Ariel James on Sunday,October 30, 2011 1:51 pm

I think MacBeth will probably have someone else kill the king. He don’t want that kind of blood on his hands. His wife will assist him on carrying out the murder because of her ways. If MacBeth doesn’t kill him indirectly, his wife will personally kill him herself.

  24.   Jessica Essix on Sunday,October 30, 2011 2:55 pm

I think MacBeth will carry out his plan of killing the King by somehow making it seem as though somebody else killed him. I believe Lady MacBeth will support him all the way and possibly even assist him in doing this. I think this because she was the one that was so eager for MacBeth to go ahead and kill the King. MacBeth being that he is so nice and all may back out at the very last moment and Lady MacBeth will end up killing the King instead.

  25.   Paige Walker on Sunday,October 30, 2011 3:44 pm

I believe Lady Macbeth will have Macbeth go through with the murderr because she seems like the type who doesn’t like to get her hands dirty, but wants the job done. I think Macbeth is going to either stab him or poison him because all of the stories from that era tend to have violent deaths.

  26.   ornela aka on Sunday,October 30, 2011 4:13 pm

I think Macbeth will be sneaky about the whole situation. His wife will be behind the whole thing. She will force him to carry out the murder. I don’t think she will exactly be present when the murder take place. She’s sneaky and envious so she will do everything in her power to force her husband to kill the king. Since Macbeth obey his wife, he will do what she tells him to do because it will benefit both of them.

  27.   Ope Olaleye on Sunday,October 30, 2011 4:21 pm

I think Lady Macbeth will manipulate Macbeth to carry out the murder. She knows that Macbeth will listen to her and he’s very soft on making decisions on his own. I also think She will also use that as a way to become the ruler. She doesn’t want any blood on her hands. I think after Macbeth kills Duncan, Lady Macbeth will back-stab her husband and confess that her husband had something to do with the killing and when they kill her husband, she has a strong chance of becoming ruler

  28.   Keny Pham on Sunday,October 30, 2011 4:54 pm

I believe that Lady Macbeth wants to kill the king herself, but would rather have Macbeth carry out the murder because if Macbeth was going to be king afterwards, he should do it himself. However, Macbeth would have to be persuaded/tempted by Lady Macbeth to do so. Also, it is likely that when Macbeth carries out the plan, he will assassinate the king when the king is by himself.

  29.   Meita Porter on Sunday,October 30, 2011 5:24 pm

I think that Macbeth will attempt to murder the king with the help of Lady Macbeth. I have a feeling that Macbeth will back out and Lady Macbeth may still carry on and be ruthless about it. Or if Macbeth doesn’t back out then Lady Macbeth will try to take all the credit.

  30.   Breland Liggons on Sunday,October 30, 2011 5:38 pm

I think given that Lady Macbeth has a controlling and cut throat personality she will have most say in how Macbeth will kill the king. I beleive that she will orchestrate the plan in detail and have Macbeth carry it out. I do not think that Macbeth will leave his wife either because of the situation

  31.   venreyjon on Sunday,October 30, 2011 5:39 pm

Honestly, I think both Macbeth and Lady Macbeth will have something to do with the murder of the king. I don’t think both will actually murder him though. I think Lady Macbeth will be the one to murder him and Macbeth will be blame for it.

  32.   breahna1 on Sunday,October 30, 2011 5:46 pm

I believe Macbeth will go through with the murder, only because his wife pushes him to do it, although deep down he wants to. I think he will commit the murder himself.

  33.   Nyia Bentley on Sunday,October 30, 2011 7:32 pm

I think that lady macbeth will murder the king, and she will persuade her husband to help her. In the end he might feel guilt for what he has done, and may try to harm himself or his wife in order to relieve his guilt.

  34.   Jeré_Alyse on Sunday,October 30, 2011 7:58 pm

I personally believe that it will best Macbeth who carries out the plan to kill King Duncan however Lady Macbeth will be the brains behind the plan. Recalling Shakespeare’s other plays, the act will probably involve some sort of poison and/or knives.

  35.   Ronnae Ravenell on Sunday,October 30, 2011 7:59 pm

I believe Macbeth will attempt to carry out the murder himself, but Lady Macbeth will end up carrying it out himself. From the looks of things Lady Macbeth wears the pants in the family and she seems to be in a rush to get the murder of the king out of the way. Most likely Macbeth will take too long, and Lady Macbeth will end up doing all of the work.

  36.   Barbara-Rose Collins II on Sunday,October 30, 2011 8:52 pm

I feel that Macbeth will in fact kill King Duncan. Even though Lady Machbeth talks a good deal, she will leave the dirty work to her husband. However, she will play a role by persuading him and making him think that this is what’s best for their family.

  37.   Kayla Douglas on Sunday,October 30, 2011 8:58 pm

I think Macbeth will carry out the murdering of King Duncan himself, but will be hesitant. With Lady Macbeth by his side, she will push him right along so he can proceed with the murder. Lady Macbeth won’t allow Macbeth to backdown even if that means she will have to take care of it herself.

  38.   Rachel Webb on Sunday,October 30, 2011 9:16 pm

I think Macbeth will ultimately stab the king to kill him. Lady Macbeth will facilitate him in this, I don’t think she’s dumb enough to carry out the dirty work herself. However, I do know for sure that she is the brains of the operation and will do whatever it takes to get the dirty deed done.

  39.   Damia on Sunday,October 30, 2011 9:16 pm

I think he will use poison or something not obvious & I think that lady Macbeth will not assist him because she is brains & he is the brawn or at least that is what I think.

  40.   Paige Williams on Sunday,October 30, 2011 9:46 pm

Macbeth will commit the murder by himself. Since the motives of the murder are so deeply rooted within him, it’ll be a more personal crime which leads me to believe that stabbing will be involved over poisoning or something of that nature.

  41.   Chelsea Reeves on Sunday,October 30, 2011 10:13 pm

Lady Macbeth without a doubt will have to help her husband with their plans of murder. Macbeth is a strong person but he is too kind at heart to do evil things. Lady Macbeth will realize, if you want something done, you have to do it yourself. She will ultimately play a major role in the murder.

  42.   Travis Frasier on Sunday,October 30, 2011 10:50 pm

I think that Lady Macbeth will convince her husband to commit the murder. I think Macbeth is too kind hearted to do it himself. I think Macbeth will feel guilty afterwards but he will have already gone through with it.
