Now that Macbeth is King, what do you think his first act of business will be?
Macbeth will try to have Fleance and Banquo killed.
I think Macbeth’s character will take a turn for the worse. He is probably going to try and kill the people that are closest to him in fear that they will reign against him.
Macbeth is freaking insane! Banquo is his friend and he wants to kill him….not cool.
Mrs. Maas I have a couple questions, Why in act 3 scene 1 did Macbeth name off a list of dogs when he was taling to the murderers? and why wouldnt Macbeth tell his Lady about how he planned to kill Banquo?
I find it interesting, though not all-together unsurprising, that Macbeth plots to kill Banquo. It’s obvious that loyalty is not one of his strong points (as evidenced by his murder of his own king), but one would think his loyalty might be slightly stronger than his ambition when it comes to someone he considers a friend rather than just a ruler. Macbeth’s success in attaining power seems only to have exacerbated his bloodlust: having power is no longer enough — now he must keep it. It appears to me that Duncan’s murder was the beginning of a bloody chain of events in which violence will beget more violence, and this might be part of a message that Shakespeare intended for the audience — possibly something regarding the efficiency of attaining power through assassination, and whether that can really be satisfying.
Macbeth is greedy for power. He killed his King, so he could obtain the throne and yet that is still not enough. Now he feels threatened by everyone to keep his power, even his friend Banquo. Now he is plotting murder against him, I see loyalty means nothing to him anymore. All of this power is getting to his head, ultimately making him insane.
Macbeth will find a way to kill Banquo. Lets not forget he is capable of doing anything now. But he better watch out because the witches can unveal everything. Secrets cannot hide in the shadow for too long.
i believe that Mcbeth wants to kill Banquo because he thinks that Banquo is being too loyal. He thinks Banquo is tryin to steal his royalty that is why he fear his loyalty even though Banquo been a good friend to him. Why he is not the one comitting the murder instead of having these other two men do it? Mcbeth and his wife will suffer for all of the disasters they are causing. They will regret killing the king.
I believe that Mcbeth will become suspicious and overacting to people around him who considers a threat to his newfound powers. For example at the end of his soliloquoy in Act 2, Scene 1 Mcbeth says, “Hear not my steps, which way they walk, for fear thy very stones prate of my whereabout….Whiles I threat, he lives..” this could also symbolize a double meaning and foreshadowing in the play that Mcbeth will end up having to make some decisions over whether or not he will need to murder people who he feels will hinder him from being king–even if this means killing his most loyal friend Banquo.

I think that MacBeth will try and kill Banquo seeing as though he thinks he is trying to take over his royalty. Also, I think MacBeth will become a tyrannical king.
I think that macbeth will kill Banquo, and when he realizes that he can get away with murder once again he will become power hungry and become a malicious king.

Now that Macbeth is King, I believe that he will try to kill anyone who thinks that he killed Duncan to protect himself. I also think that the first to be killed will be Banquo.
i think Macbeth will have Banquao killed because he beleives that Banquao and his son are a threat to his power now that he is King.
I think Macbeth is so nervous after killing Duncan that he convinced himself that everyone is against him and in the end he is going to end up hurting himself.
I believe Macbeth is afraid that someone will find out about him killing Duncan that he wants Banquo killed, because he knew Banquo’s loyalty to King Duncan. Macbeth is two-faced and has plotted a scheme with Lady Macbeth and the Guards to have Banquo killed.
He’s going to keep killing people, he’s apprehensive and is affraid someone will find out what he has done and doesn’t want to loose what he’s worked so hard to have….
MacBeth is obviously uneasy and power hungry. More than likely he will have Banquo killed, since he is paranoid that someone will try to take his new spot, as he did.
I think Macbeth is feeling very–if not, somewhat guilty about the murder of his king (which shows disloyalty on his part). I also believe that Macbeth is going to use his powers in ways where they benefit no one but himself.
Now that Macbeth is king i believe that he will become paranoid on the fact that he killed Duncan and will try to prevent that from happening to him by killing anything or anyone who poses as a threat to him. On the contrary i also believe that Macbeth might use his King position to assist others and do good but his wife might have other plans and try and chnage that.
I feel that Macbeth is hungry for power, and will now do anything for it. Since he killed the king he’s become reckless. Reckless enough to kill his very own friend Banquo, he will do anything to get more power.
Now that Macbeth is king. I think things will start getting worse for him. He will start feeling bad for what he did. Somebody might even try to kill him if the believe that he was the one who killed Duncan
Macbeth is really going nuts, he is trying to kill the people that are close to him because he is paraniod that someone will try to take his throne. Everything is going to crumble down in macbeths face. And he will not know what to do. I hope he doesnt kill banquo though.
Now that Macbeth is king, I believe he will be tormented with anxiety and he’ll probably become suspicious of the people closest to him. I also believe he will have Banquo killed in order to protect his position as king.
Macbeth is parenoied and he is power hungry because he is obviously willing to kill anyone, even his friend to keep his power as king. He is probably scared that someone will find out what he has done so he is watching his back from everyone because he fears they may turn on him.
Macbeth is on edge and suspicious of all activity that surrounds him, therefore it is most feasible that he will result to killing others in order to quiet his conscience. Even if that means killing his friends Banquo.
I have a concern. Why when the three murders killed Banqo, why didnt at least one of them go after his son?

The moment Macbeth killed Duncan and became the new King; a series of problematic events began to surface. First, Macbeth is suspicious of any kind of activity that surrounds him. With that in mind, he has to make sure that nothing is discovered or revealed about the murder of Duncan-even if he has to kill his friend Banquo. In any case, there are a lot of problems facing Macbeth as the new king and he can’t blame anybody but himself.
I believe that now Macbeth is King he will take out anyone who thinks he committed the murder of the king. If anyone questions him or anything of that nature he will end them.
I believe Macbeth is going to sabotage Banquo, because of his own insecurities. After killing Duncan, he seems to be very paranoid.
I think Macbeth will make some decisions that he will regret in the future; killing people that are close to him just so he can have a specific title and power is not worth all of the drama. Macbeth will soon feel guilty and it will be too little too late once some will want to seek revenge one him.
Now that I am finished, I see that Macbeth did sabotage Banquo. I think he’s going crazy, and is most likely going to go on a killing spree…which is ironic since he was so shooken up after killing Duncan.
I have a question though? Why are there a first murderer and second murderer? If macbeth is the murderer?

I am confused of who this Macduff character is and of Lennox conversation with another Lord. I think its quite intresting of how the 3 witches and Hectate are somewhat the same 3 witches and Hates (sp?) played in Hercules, I just made that resemblance. Overall I believe Macbeth knows what he has in store because he knows he has gone to far to stop now and knows that revenge is coming sooner or later.
