After the wedding, Dr. Manette makes plans to go on the honeymoon with Lucy & Charles but becomes ill just before it is time to leave. What do you make of this? What do you make of the marriage? What do you enjoy most about weddings?

I think Dr.Manette may just have some ill fillings and cannot take what is going on so in a way he is also mentally shutting down. Stress can bring about sickness, so seeing his daughter grow up may have him very concerned. I think this marriage will last only if Lucie stay dedicated to Darnay. If Lucie decides to take interest in the other people who want to be involved with her life, then she will probably cheat on Darnay. My favorite part of weddings is seeing the bride and groom kiss because then you offically know that the LONG wedding is finally over. Also when the groom pulls the garter off the bride. I think its a kind of riskay move of showing your affection or plans for the honeymoon….lol
I think Dr.Manette is having separation anxiety from his daughter her marriage & darnay’s false identity I also think he is very close to Lucie but also strangely close to his daughter the best part of the weddings is that the bond the two people share like Lucie loves Charles for who he is well who he think she is but she loves him interesting to see how it will unfold.
I think Dr.Mannette emotion feelings about the wedding caused him to become sick. Not many people can handle seeing someone they love, love someone else. I think the wedding may last but I think Lucie is too kind hearted to hurt one guy and not the other. My favorite part of weddings is the whole ceremony because joining love is a beautiful thing.
I think Dr. Manette does not approve of the marriage because he does not want to lose the daughter that he just reconnected with. I think that Lucie and Charles really do love each other, however, Charles needs to tell Lucie the truth about where he comes from. The best thing about weddings is the reception.
I think Dr. Manette got “ill” because he couldn’t handle the fact that his daughter was married and growing up. I think he needs more time to come around and it’s all just too much for him right now. My favorite part of weddings is when the Bride and Groom kiss. It’s wonderful to see people in love join together the right way but mostly because the wedding is finally over-_- haha
I think Dr. Manette’s feelings towards Darnay marrying his daughter has everything to do with him falling I’ll. He does not approve of his daughter marrying him. I think the marriage might just last, they seem like they’re really in love. My favorite part about wedding is the atmosphere. Everyone is so happy.
I think that Dr. Manette is just nervous and worried about his daughter leaving. On the other hand it could be beneficial to both. Lucy can learn the responsibilities of marriage, and her father can learn how to be on his own. Which he shouldn’t have a problem with. The best part about weddings is the fact two people are willing to commit to eachother, and stay together through everything.
I think he got ill because he was stressed out and was not really ready for what was to come. He still may think about being in captivity and he is not so much ready for a Huge change like that, The wedding is sweet, because it is two people in love I cant wait for that to happen to me
I think that Dr.Manette may actually have changed his mind. Maybe he believed that it would have been wrong to go with and wants his daughter to enjoy the time she will spend with her husband. The marriage itself was a great thing to picture, however while every cloud has a silver lining there is also lighting underneath. I don’t believe the marriage will end well, for both sides. My favorite part of a wedding are the awesome cakes.

I believe Dr. Manette just doesnt like the fact that another man is in her life other than him. He is not as ill as he thinks. The marrriage is good for both of them they love and respect each other. My favorite part of the wedding is the end so that I can go eat and the vows.
